The Maine Coast Fishermen's Association is a truly impactful organization that works to enhance the sustainability of Maine’s fisheries by advocating for the needs of community-based fishermen and the environmental restoration of the Gulf of Maine. I will be running the Maine Marathon (on a relay team, completing a marathon will remain on my bucket list) to help raise funds for this impactful organization. For those of you that don't know, I am a third generation fisherman and the Founder and CEO of Luke's Lobster, a vertically integrated seafood company with lobster shacks and branded grocery products across the country. I am also the father of three little girls, and often some combination of them and I are out fishing at all hours of the day. My family and I have benefited from and will continue to support the wonderful fishing communities that exist in the Gulf of Maine and running this race and raising funds for MCFA is a small token of appreciation towards that commitment.
