Celebrate halibut season with chef Melissa Kelly and MCFA!
Join MCFA for our annual Just for the Halibut event, hosted this year at the fabulous PRIMO restaurant in Rockland! Two-time James Beard Award-winning chef Melissa Kelly will demo cutting a whole halibut in real time while guests hear from the fisherman himself. Local Port Clyde fisherman Gerry Cushman will share stories from the boat - what it was like to fish for halibut with his father and how fishermen catch this particular species. Enjoy a selection of halibut hors d'oeuvres, passed apps, and small plates.
Your ticket purchase includes all that incredible food and one drink ticket. Guests will also get to bring home fresh fillet in custom MCFA cooler bags to cook at home.
