Join the Maine Coast Fishermen's Association at Luke's Lobster Portland Pier for some fun and halibut. There will be halibut apps to enjoy, Maine Coast Monkfish Stew, and a halibut cutting demonstration. It's not quite summer, but might as well kick off the season a little early (and before it gets too busy) .. just for the halibut. This event is generously sponsored by Skowhegan Savings Bank and 100% of the ticket sales from the evening will support MCFA's amazing programs like Fishermen Feeding Mainers, the Working Waterfront, and Fishermen Wellness.
If you make a donation of $50 or more, you will receive a copy of our cookbook, Catch: A Maine Seafood Cookbook from the Maine Coast Fishermen's Association that can be picked up the night of the event. The cookbook is full of recipes that use Maine seafood and common household ingredients, and the photos of the prepared meals depict the recipes just like you might make them at home.
