Join us for an authentic Maine Lobster Bake!
Lobster Bake on Casco Bay's Peaks Island. Hosted by MCFA and Island Lobster Company.
Although many see Labor Day as the official end of Summer, the rest of September in Maine is not a month to miss before we start battening down the hatches for winter. Join us on beautiful Peaks Island, off the coast of Portland, for an authentic lobster bake with Island Lobster Company. 100% of the proceeds raised from the event will go toward MCFA's projects and programs.
Join us early starting at 4:00 PM for oysters from Little Busters Oysters, cocktails, and live music from The Work Trucks!
If you're not lucky enough to own a boat, you'll have to use Casco Bay Lines to make it across Casco Bay. Ticket purchase includes the full lobster bake menu with oysters and soft drinks. A full bar is on site for those wishing to purchase adult beverages.
Owner/Captain Thom Werner unloads his daily catch of lobsters at the dock directly in front of Island Lobster Company. Katie — his wife and partner in this venture — will welcome you “aboard” with a warm hello and get you set for your traditional seaside New England Lobster Bake.

- MCFA's Maine Coast Monkfish Stew
- Fresh Steamed Lobster
- Fresh, Locally Harvested Mussels
- Baked Potato
- Fresh Corn on the Cob
- Maine's Best Whoopie Pie
Oh and since this is a true lobster bake, don’t expect a “white table cloth restaurant” we keep it casual and fun… we supply the lobster crackers, picks, and of course, plenty of napkins and melted butter.
